We work with the University of North Carolina which just won the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament. UNC's alumni association uses our platform to manage their alumni groups in cities around the world. Those groups run their websites on our platform and our reporting suite allows the association to see what's happening around the globe - events, attendance, etc.
We would like to create 3-5 variants of advertisement to run on Facebook promoting our connection to UNC. The focus should be celebrating the UNC victory and playing on the notion that they are champions and we are a tool they use to make their alumni networks more successful. We'll be driving them to our homepage and the overall goal of the campaign is to elevate the name recognition and brand status of a startup, not to sell the viewer on features or competitive comparison.
We cannot use UNC logos or text that mentions the NCAA or UNC athletic program. So, our thought is to overlay bold text on an image (possibly filtered) of the basketball team celebrating or playing in the championship game to draw the connection. The overall tone should be strong and direct without being cocky.
Some content ideas we've had:
"2 National Championships appearances. 2200 alumni events around the globe. All tied together in 1 place. Alumni Spaces."
"2 years of using Alumni Spaces. 2 National Championship appearances. Use the tool of champions."
"Alumni Spaces. Used by champions."
"Using Alumni Spaces for two years, and made it to the national championship for both. Ready to play in the Final Four?"
