Join the Club!! Do you have a brain injury? Are you brain tired? Are you living in a brain fog? Do you know someone who is? This book if for you! A poignant study of the subtle changes in daily life when there are brain issues. What is the image of a person with brain problems? Nancy Haller writes from life experience in all of the above categories. Been there, doing that defines her perspective and expertise in observation and participation in life with brain issues. She provides tools for assessment and strategies for many areas of daily living. Personal vignettes are woven throughout the book allowing each reader to glimpse into their lives and acknowledge, “This is ME!!” Brain issues are part of life. Acknowledging that it is okay to be dealing with these issues allows you to join an enormous population of like minded people. Learn skills of assessment and strategies for working with the moments of brain difficulty for yourself or the people around you. Nancy takes a sometimes humorous and other times serious look at a prevalent issue in today’s society. It is a book for everyone who is looking in the mirror and wondering, “What is happening to me, my child, my parents, or the person driving in the car next to me? Is the mail is piling up because it is overwhelming to open? Looking for words in conversation or lost the ability to do math? Getting out of the house is becoming more difficult? Are you getting lost when driving in your neighborhood? Do other people notice the changes happening to me? Do I notice them? Included are: 31 simple “30 to 60 second Moments of Awareness’ designed to train your brain.
What's your vision?
I am looking for a cover that is subtle yet powerful, minimal and descriptive, lets the reader associate with the idea they are included in the information, a challenge to pick this book from the shelf because is draws them to the need to know. Perhaps, when the reader sees a "brain teaser" within the design.
It is not necessary to use this illustration. What I like about it is the subtle look of fear and lost in the eye, the minimal lines and the way the eye follows.I appreciate that there is a space of "nothingness" within the "normal".
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Book cover starts at €289.
