Title- “Stray Cows & Other Short Stories” Author- Brad T. Kemph (author’s name can be small/minimized to provide maximum graphic coverage) Red splash/star- A Random Fat Guy Story (red splash star) Design concept- There is a young cowboy on a horse herding about 3 or so cows (the strays). (Number of cows will depend on how much room you have on the cover. Do not put too many on the cover. I do not want it looking crowded.) The cows are stylized to have floral prints on them. One of the cows must be a ‘skeleton cow.’ The hills in the background are cupcakes. The theme is a fantasy land with a traditional looking cowboy herding these “art” cows in a landscape made out of huge cupcakes. (If the cupcake concept does not work, the background can by in the Outback- Uluru/Ayer’s Rock). The image stretches from the front to the back cover. The images I have provided represent what I want. Each graphic is labeled for each piece of the illustration. There are details for every component- boots, chaps, hat, type of horse, cowboy’s physique, saddle, details for the cows, Uluru/Ayer’s Rock, etc. Back Cover Content (see 3 quotes below) "Stray Cows- A young rodeo cowboy, recently released from prison, attempts to adjust to gay life on the outside in a world of Bear bars and fag hags." "The Girl with the Cupcake Tattoo- A young woman exacts payment from the men who mistreat her. She meets a cowboy that could possibly heal the wounds caused by the man that hurt her most." "Santa’s Socks- A simple pair of socks forgotten on the prairie by “the jolly old Elf” launches a cowboy on the adventure of a lifetime… nearly killing him." Note! Only original designs will be accepted. I will not accept any work that is trademarked, copyrighted, etc. Any copied or plagiarized work will be immediately disqualified. "Cut & paste" of the graphics I provided is not allowed and the design will be eliminated. Documented assurances of original work is expected from finalists.
