Leading Through the Pandemic
This is a multi-author book
Who are the contributors: The contributing authors are corporate executives at Fortune 500 companies and CEOs of their own mid-sized businesses. For example, here is a sample of the titles of the contributors: - EVP of Customer Experience - SVP of Channel Sales - WW Director of Digital Strategy - CEO of a $500MM national disaster management company In short this is a set of people who are highly accomplished and in powerful positions within their respective organizations. Almost all have multiple graduate degrees. Most earn over $250K in salary each year, before stock, equity, and commissions. They care a lot about their personal and professional reputations and they’ve agreed to participate in this book because they want to be known for their insight and wisdom in order to elevate their profile for future promotions and opportunities. Who is the intended audience: The intended audience is the networks of these authors, meaning they share a very similar profile. They aspire to achieve more and look at this book as a source of inspiration and even how-to for how to continue to grow as leaders during difficult times.
Book cover type
Book Genres: - Leadership - Management - Business and Money Themes of the chapters: - Personal growth, humility, resilience, compassion - Personal transformation, overcoming obstacles, breaking down and building back up, innovation, creativity Color palette options for the book: - Red & gold (option #1) if we go with more volcano / fire -inspired design - Purple & gold (option #2) if we go with more compass/navigation-inspired design ***UPDATE*** Hello Designers, I'm thinking the symbolism of the compass is not conveying the emotion I want it to, which is themes of: -inspiration -bucking convention and standing out -showing the way to others -thriving while others are hiding, etc. Here are some stock images I've found that might help convey this: https://www.shutterstock.com/image-photo/high-achiever-silhouettes-three-people-holding-637442683 https://www.shutterstock.com/image-illustration/silhouette-people-helping-each-other-hike-777053827 https://www.shutterstock.com/image-vector/silhouettes-group-businessman-climbing-on-mountain-1227668605 https://www.shutterstock.com/image-illustration/silhouette-young-man-woman-jumping-celebrate-794529142 https://www.shutterstock.com/image-vector/vector-hand-drawn-can-do-concept-1066974776 https://www.shutterstock.com/image-vector/vector-hand-drawn-teamwork-concept-sketch-1066708709 My favorites are probably the illustrations, but I am open to seeing the silhouettes too. I'm liking the colors and cosmo/blueprint effect I'm seeing on this design and I would like to see something like this layered in to the design: http://99d.me/e/m6px/1vpdme ***UPDATE #2*** Hello Designers, I've added some visual examples of book covers in the genres that we are looking to publish in to serve as guidance an inspiration.
