All The Right Angles
Cordelia Taylor is an author of contemporary romance. She writes speculative fiction as S.T. Gibson.
When historical preservation expert Emma meets sunny, sexy Ryan at a benefit gala for her beloved La Bella theatre, she thinks she’s found the perfect guy. There’s just one problem: Ryan is the fiancé of Robert, a modern architect and Emma’s workplace rival. Robert and Emma can barely stand to be in the same room together: he’s ten years older than her, a total workaholic, and determined to destroy the La Bella’s charm in the name of restoration. Which makes it all the more shocking when Robert invites Emma back home to play the role of Ryan’s fantasy-fulfilling birthday present. The catch? Robert gets to watch. One night of no-strings sex turns into a mindblowing menage, with Emma caught between Ryan’s unashamed passion and Robert’s brooding control. The three become increasingly entangled in each other, and boundaries blur and taboos are shattered as Emma’s darkest desires are brought to light. But as the restoration gets underway, Robert and Emma’s dueling responsibilities clash. She wants to save the La Bella. He wants to raze it to the ground. And Ryan wants them to find a middle ground, or else he’s out. Can three busy professionals make an unorthodox arrangement work, or will professional ego tear them apart?
Women in their twenties and up, fans of queer romance.
I'm looking for a super modern feeling, moody cover for an erotic romance novel. I love big strong author names in serif font and dark, rich colors. I also like romance novel covers that have some of the title in cursive/script and some in typset, so it might be cute if "angles" in the title was in script font.
What to avoid
I'd like to stay away from human figures and focus more on imagery and objects. Any architectural tools would be a great thing to include in the cover since one of the heroes is an architect, but that isn't required.
