JAG KK got their new flash animation by running a design contest:
Local area map - Flash movie
Check out JAG KK's Flash Animation contest…
We need 2 NEW maps created AND THEN we need these 2 NEW maps to be put together with our Logo into a short flash movie. It will show a) our office location, b) the hotels and train stations located in the area and c) directions from the nearest station to our office.
What's your vision?
Desired Color Scheme: red, grey, black and white best 2 NEW MAPS will have to be created for this FLASH MOVIE, and also some nice icons for hotels, train stations and some other points of interest mentioned in the script. (The Flash movie should be no wider than 600 pixels!) STAGE 1 The following maps need to be created first, before doing the flash movie... Map 1 – will show the local area with some roads, about 16 hotels and 6 train stations marked (see this link as a guide: http://wwwflickr.com/photos/21710571@N07/2100874174/ ). Our office is the large black dot in the center of the map. The red dots are hotels. Map 2 – will show a closer version of the local area, showing how to get to our office from the nearest station (See this link as a guide :http://wwwflickr.com/photos/21710571@N07/2100958168/). STAGE 2 The 2 NEW maps will be used along with our company logo, to create a short flash movie. Here is the Flash movie storyboard, with audio script (which we will produce) + the flash visuals, (which you will produce) and are in red: Company LOGO is on screen "The Japan Bike Rentals office is located in the heart of Tokyo in the Akasaka district, near Roppongi." Company LOGO fades into local area map (Map 1), which shows hotels and train stations. All hotels flash together at first to match the text. Then each train station flashes when mentioned to indicate location "Our office is conveniently located, close to a large number of hotels and easily accessible from 6 different subway stations; Aoyama-Itchome, Akasaka-Mitsuke, Nogizaka, Tameike-Sanno, Roppongi and the closest, Akasaka Station." Dissolve to a closer, zoomed in Akasaka area map – exit 7 flashes (No.1 on link map), then use a red dotted line or footprint to direct the user to office "If using Akasaka station, take exit 7 (1). When you exit the station, you’ll see the Chisun hotel right across the street from you. Turn right and walk along the main street for about 200m. At the light, you’ll see a police box (2). Turn right here. Go past the Nippon car rental shop (3), which will be on your left. Keep going another 30m or so, cross over the street and enter the quiet little street in front of you. We are about 30m down that road on the left (4). Hope to see you soon. Give us a call if you get lost." fade out to Company LOGO again GPS co-ordinates: Exit 7, Akasaka station – 35 40’ 17.43†N / 139 44’ 07.51†E Our office – 35 40’ 15.53†N / 139 43’ 57.69†E
