cPanel provides the industry leading server control panel for the web hosting industry. With our product, end users can self managing their own web hosting account, including building websites, managing email accounts, controlling databases, installing software (like wordpress) and more.
What's your vision?
cPanel is looking for icons to represent three different applications: 1) "Addon domains", where end-users can create new hosting for domains they may own, 2) "Email Accounts", where end-users can create and manage email accounts for their own users, 3) "File Manager", where end-users can directly access and edit files in the home directories of their hosting account. Each application icon must include a transparent background (as the background color of the interface can be customized by our hosting company partners). We will be judging submissions by placing them on a white background to start. Your submissions will be used on the home-screen of the product as well as in headings and navigation throughout the product. They should be square in aspect ratio (equal heights and widths) and clearly recognizable/readable. In general, steer clear of details and complexity. Opt for simple and beautiful. Should your submission win, we may chose to contract with you for the remaining icons needed to complete the set shown in the attached screenshot.
We have included a screenshot of our current offering, Paper Lantern, for your reference. Additionally, you may want to reference http://styleguide.cpanel.net for our product's UI style guide and official colors AND http://cpanel.com/cpanel-brand-guide/ for our company branding guidelines.
