<p class="p1">3Pikas is a creative web application and product development shop based in northern Canada. We help organizations collect, use and visualize data to solve real world problems. We work closely with First Nations (indigenous peoples, and our primary market), governments, and the private sector to improve access to information through our web apps.
What's your vision?
Design of 5 icons of 5 Web applications that are for sale on the market place including: PIKA, RAVEN, CLAN, Harvest, Shelter. We require the designs of simple and clean icons with name of application using Myriad pro for font and colors that would match the look and feel like our company logo; 3pikas.com. Preferably, we would like the icons to be simple and 2 tones.
Here's a brief description of the products: PIKA - PIKA stands for Parcelized-Knowledge-Application and is designed to register, store and manage documents such as deeds, mortgages, and survey plans. This innovative system provides electronic registration of leases, licenses and permits. The Pika is a small animal that lives in Canada and the United States. It is most commonly identified by its small, round body, peppery brown fur, large round ears and no visible tail. The Pika is the name our company as identified by our logo. RAVEN is built with mapping capabilities and provides a suite of geographic and non-geographic reporting capabilities. RAVEN comes with a mobile app for fieldwork and to record traditional land use interviews that can be used with a tablet. The Raven is a black bird with a large beak. Potential symbols to represent CLAN includes a person, a group of people... Harvest - Harvest is designed to help manage wildlife harvest data and undertake basic wildlife monitoring. Harvest allows to keep track of animal populations by collecting, analyzing and reporting on First Nation harvest levels. Finally, it provides the ability to generate hunting permits. Harvest is the process of gathering food; animals and plants. Potential symbol to represent Harvest is a basket, a animal (such as a caribou), a salmon, or a cache.
