Updated to make it more clear and simple
Mix real (or realistic looking) objects like a house, car or employee with illustrations. The purpose of this is to tell a story about a problem we solve or feature we created.
Pick one or two use cases to create one or two conceptual designs.
Use cases for inspiration. Also take the liberty to create your own scenario’s:
Present a new app feature with a personal background story told by a knab employee.
Explanation of a process during onboarding. First fill in details, then scan your pasport and last transfer 1 cent.
Introducing our online mortgage advice. A blend of a personal advisor, smart app and broad offering. Explain how technology with a personal touch helps you get a mortgage online. Convenient, modern, fast and yet personal…
https://www.revolut.com/ and http://n26.com/ are super good at presenting their apps and features which we also want to do much more. They however lack the personal touch. Knab is more than just an app and the people behind it are the driving force. N26 and Revolut don’t show much about the people behind the product.
Current style in development
Stylewise we currently often cut-out images of objects or people.
Samples from our year report:
We’re however redesigning the website and our apps and we are still looking for a graphic or illustrative style which helps it in our storytelling; explaining benefits, features and so on. The style should support a core message and not just serve as decoration. Feel free to explore styles you think work best, just incorporate our existing colours and cut-out photo style.
