PXLPOD got their new logo design by running a design contest:
The Ambulant Photographer - magazine for street photographers

Dedicated to the Art, Pursuit, and Practice of Street Photography in the 21st Century. Part community, part magazine, part resource library and learning center.
This is NOT a design for a watermark that would go on a photographer's images. This is a logo for a magazine/community brand. I am a street photography instructor leading photography workshops all over the world. I host a community website where members can come in and peruse a library of articles and lessons, as well as communicate with each other to share and learn. The concept is similar to CreativeLive or Linkedin Learning, though there's a magazine concept in the works as well. The idea behind the brand is that we all go out into the world and move around on foot in order to get our images. Hence, the Ambulant Photographer. I'll upload some of the files I'm currently using to promote the community online. These files include my color palette as do my website URLs, though I am not currently attached to my color palette. These files are simply using my typeface in lieu of a logo. Again, I'm happy to see this go in another direction entirely. The fonts I'm using are Libre Franklin and Merriweather, and I like them quite a lot. My current websites are: https://chrisfoley.photo/ and https://members.ambulant.photo/ NOTE: I would like to avoid the illustration of a little camera that so many people are using right now. It's done to death and that's not really what this is all about, though I don't mind the idea of having some camera element in the logo. I don't want to make any suggestions as I am hoping for something new and fresh.
