dadstartingover.coK got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Design a new "Dad Starting Over" logo for a popular website and author.

Community & Non-Profit
It's a website for men who are starting over in life. There are articles, books, a podcast... and a members-only area (I may end up doing a new logo for the DSO Fraternity, as well). Some of the readers are starting over from within the framework of marriage... some are divorced and starting over.
I’m interested in emblem and mascot logos. You can see the existing logo at dadstartingover.com. Want something more robust... like a patch/emblem. Would be nice to incorporate a superman type of character. Nothing too cartoony.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Logo design starts at €269.
Full copyright with production-ready files for digital and/or print.

WMF Design was amazing, would highly recommend to anyone looking for a design. Worked extremely hard from day one of the contest, was extremely fast to respond to feedback, make changes and answer any questions that i had. Also provided way more designs that i could have imagined.
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
