About us
The Mackey House is an elegant wedding venue that encompasses beautiful trees and gardens that sit on a private, family-owned estate. Our target audience is young brides who have a large budget.

We have many beautiful trees on the grounds and are thinking we would like the logo to incorporate a tree. Oak trees with moss are classic for southern symbolism, however it is very common to see an oak tree for a logo among wedding vendors. We need something that sets ours apart. We also have many magnolia trees on site that could be a possibility for the logo, but again we need this to look high-end and elegant. We like the idea of having something hidden in the logo, for example, we are a Christian venue and want to bring that more to the forefront with how we run our business. We have a drawing of the name "Jesus" in Hebrew which is a file we will include that we could imagine being incorporated in the branches of the tree. This is not a requirement but is appealing to us. Also, we have seen a logo for a company that incorporated the state tree/ logo for South Carolina, which is a palm tree, into an oak tree. This is kind of what I mean by a 'hidden picture". The idea behind this is to have our logo set apart from the others. Top words to remember is for it to be elegant, classic, sophisticated and high-end. I am also including a color palette that shows the color scheme we would like for this. The logo should include the name of our venue, "The Mackey House" with a tagline of "Savannah, Ga". I am also going to include a file of our font that we will be using.
