sandyut got their new logo design by running a design contest:
FUN Project: Alert! I Need a Logo for a web 2.0 style venture...
Check out sandyut's Logo design contest…
I need a logo for a website called "Help! My Business Sucks!" that helps small business owners transform their struggling business around. Think of the TV show 'extreme makeover' but for business. it's a serious topic but it'll be presented in a fun, 'easy to digest' style.
What's your vision?
Accepted File Formats: Standard Web Formats (.jpg, .gif or .png); Layered Formats (.psd or .tiff) The logo does not need to have or be a symbol, it could just be the words "Help! My Business Sucks!" Don't forget to include the quotation marks. The word "Help!" should be on it's own, perhaps slightly angled, then the words 'My Business Sucks' below. I don't want the entire phrase on one line because the logo needs to fit in a 4:3 aspect ratio. The design style should convey 'easy & fun', perhaps a little quirky but not goofy. Towards the fun style of web 2.0 graphics.  The logo will probably be used on a variety of formats, online, on video and in print. Here's some logos from a few sites that might help get a flavor for what I like: www.aiderss.com - I like the gradient within characters, the 'sheen' www.trugo.com - nice colors www.koinup.com - Nice use of colors without looking childish www.dorbit.net - Like this fun font  Have fun!  Â
