Bar & Nightclub
Beer/wine bar with various games, including darts, pool, foosball, air hockey, bumper pool. The location is in a very eclectic and artsy neighborhood. It is on a strip with other bars and restaurants that is a popular spot.
Thinking a vintage vibe, like old piano bar or billiards hall but not so serious or fancy. For example, if we do a champagne happy hour, it will be Champagne or Miller High Life ("the Champagne of Beers"). We may have a dueling piano players night or karaoke night. We are having a local artist do a mural on the side of the building. I am thinking the logo should not be too intricate, something that will look good printed on a shirt or hat. My initial thought is that incorporating a dart board in the logo is too basic and obvious, unless it was more of an abstract part of the design. That being said, I am certainly not a designer!

Wizard of Ads
The logo designed by Fortunic surpassed the efforts of 398 other logos submitted by top-tier artists. He walked away with a major prize in a very special design contest. Lots of designers have talent, but Fortunic read the brief carefully, (few designers do,) and he communicates with enthusiasm and clarity. Speaking as a New York Times and Wall Street Journal bestselling business author (The Wizard of Ads – 1998 – and Secret Formulas of the Wizard of Ads – 1999 – I can tell you that Fortunic is as good as they get. And I'm telling you this after 40 years of working with artists and designers around the world. Fortunic is someone you definitely want to add to your contact list.
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
