Good Ventures got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Logo for ethical products needed
Check out Good Ventures's Logo design contest…
I need a fairly simple logo for a new brand of ethical products. The company is developing a range of ethical products, starting with a range of ethical skincare, but will stretch into clothing and other consumer products.
What's your vision?
Desired Color Scheme: Neutrals, whites, charcoals Desired Style: Simple, modern Accepted File Formats: Standard Web Formats (.jpg, .gif or .png); Vector Formats (.eps, .pdf or .ai); Layered Formats (.psd or .tiff) The logo will form the basis for the brand identity and will be extended across the website and packaging material. The name of the company is Good Ventures and the current website is www.goodventures.co.uk. The idea for the logo is that a * would be used after good (Good* Ventures), further * would then be used on the website and packaging to explain what this means. e.g.: Good* Ventures *Â Our products are designed using sustainability principles to help all of us be a little better in our everyday lives. Look and feel: Â - The target market for this brand is 25-45 conscious consumers - unisex but probably focusing more on women than men. - I'm looking for a modern logo that could be used on a translucent white or block background - something that would stand out on shelf if we used it later on product packaging. I'd like you to give thoughts about what font would be used for the explanations as well as it may be different. - The concept should feel approachable and not too stark - perhaps using a slightly unfinished or roughly drawn * and explanation font. Â Â - Good* should stand on its own as well as with other words such as "Ventures", "Beauty" and "Clothing".
