flanker5000 got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Logo + Uncoded Template for E-Commerce Website
Check out flanker5000's Logo design contest…
Logo: client has no idea what they would like, so show us yours! The only requirement is that the logo uses the text "Shilton", not "Shilton Saddlery" ... Website template: initially we would just like to see your design based on http://www.website-design-brisbane.com.au/shilton/shilton.png However, I will be asking designers that the client is interested in to enter their concept for a homepage or product page design
What's your vision?
Desired Color Scheme: wood brown, light and/or dark blue Desired Style: Stable/barn Accepted File Formats: original PSD Should be a nice and simple one - client would like their business name "Shilton" incorporated into the logo. The colours would be brown like wood, with a secondary colour being blue. That's all! Feedback will be fast and specific, with entries shown to the client after a week or so Website layout is a standard e-com layout. Wire-frame: http://www.website-design-brisbane.com.au/shilton/shilton.png - similar to http://www.stirrups.co.nz/ ... As for the website design, they would like you to use a stable or barn look - see http://horserugsandsaddlery.co.uk/ for an example. I reserve the right to end the contest early should a particular entry be selected by my client before the close of contest. Any questions, just ask. Looking forward to your entries.
