We are in the need of a dope logo and icon for a new open source web project. A font and an icon are needed initially for our website.
What's your vision?
We are starting a new web project and community that focuses on image and video manipulation tools. We are setting up a website and posting our first projects and services soon. We want something that will set are community apart from a design perspective. A great reference project for similar type style we are picturing is the Hadoop project.., url here: http://hadoop.apache.org
- a cross between modern and 70's style design - possibly curvy type font - simple color scheme - font & icon that match inllustration styles - monkey for the icon - monkey can be head shot only or full body - picturing monkey somewhat along the lines of curious george type monkey, maybe with a tail.., maybe not
- nothing too 'bubbly' or round for the font - nothing with all browns just because there is a monkey for the icon
