Check out bklyn5's Logo design contest…
We are looking to create a new website that will include, Homepage, Product Pages, Product Detail Page, About Us, Contact Us, Fitting Tips, Privacy, Shipping Info, Return & Exchanges, FAQÂ’s, Site Map, Links. We are looking for an extremely professional design, however, we do place a heavy emphasis on the user experience. We also take into account SEO in the design of the project.
What's your vision?
Tagline: Why Rent? Own for Less. Desired Style: We are looking for the shopping pages to be located on the left of the hompage. This is the first project that we have posted on Sitepoint. PLEASE email us any questions that are unclear before you start. We don't want any miscommunication. We are looking for a websiet that will make us standout from our competitors (in design and usability). Our competitors will be: buy4lesstuxedo.com finetuxedos.com etuxedos.com smarttuxedo.com uniformalwearhouse.com WE ARE VERY OPEN TO SUGGESTIONS ON ALL ASPECTS OF THIS PROJECT, however here is what we came up with: Homepage: Here is an example of a site we like: http://www.menswearhouse.com/index.jsp What we like: -Colors, Image/ Style, of the website. - layout - Left side shopping navigation -We like the Image in the middle of the page (we would like something the same size with a great photo) with the shaded area for important text links What we dont like: We dont like the two images under the main image (Subscribe to menswire and how many brand names do we carry). What we would change: We would prefer to have 6-8 featured products on the homepage under the Main Image in the center of the page. Shopping Links on the left of the page should be as follows: Tuxedos -Tuxedos By Price -Tuxedos By Designer -Tuxedos By Style -Tuxedos By Color Tuxedo Shirts Tuxedo Trousers Vests & Ties Cummerbunds & Ties Cufflinks & Studs Button Covers Formal Shoes Dinner Jackets Tuxedo Tails Cutaways/ Strollers Top Hats Other Formal Accessories Product Pages: We like the layout of this page: http://www.finetuxedos.com/Page/neil-allyn-tuxedos.htm We like how the products are displayed with a description inside a box. We are open to other suggestions to differentiate our site from theirs. Product Detail Page: We like something like this: http://www.blueolivegifts.com/pages/frmgiftDetails.asp?giftid=2 Obviously the page has to reflect the products we are selling. We like the product photo to the left of the page and room for product description to the right of the page. We like the large Buy this Item icon Obviously we wouldnt need the personalization area. Please let us know any questions that you have. This contest was originally listed in multiple categories: - Logo Design - Web Page Design (Coded)
