Community & Non-Profit
Sprint Up is a start up social enterprise based in the UK. We work with disadvantaged sections of the society and provide jobs. Our profits (when there will be some) will be distributed fairly and equitably. All that is the future, for now we are trying to get off the ground.
What's your vision?
What would I like designed?A Tea TowelWhat size? The finished design should be screen printed on a screen the size of an A3 sheet. How many colours? One colour only What would I like to convey? The theme is 'tea'. For instance, you could play on the word 'tea'. Infini-tea, Absurdi-tea, Amnes-tea, Ingenui-tea, Anxie-tea...anything. Or it could be a funny depiction of afternoon tea. The tone has to be one that is light and brings a smile to the person's face. Personally I like David Shrigley and his take on life and its absurdities (absurditeas?). Something handwritten/hand-drawn could work well. Typography too. *edited to include* Why not try listing cakes that could be had at tea time? Or instructions on how to brew a cuppa? Or something like 'Make tea, make peace'.Or 'One Tea, Two Tea, Three Tea, Forty'. There is a good possibility that I'll be working with the winning designer again, so there is chance of more work. Please have a look at http://www.todryfor.com for a good selection of tea towel designs. I'm open to most ideas but not keen on anything too traditional or anything with blocks of colour.
The attached is one of David Shrigley's work. I have uploaded it to give you a flavour of what I'm looking for.
