Kooglefish.apps got their new app design by running a design contest:
mobile app design required
Check out Kooglefish.apps's App design contest…
The App is very simple and similar to a diary. It can create, delete and share entries.
The design has to make an emotional connection with the user und should look unique, valuable, big and bold. That’s why we want to use organic textures that include wood, leather and paper. The main part of the app’s design will be an open book that has old looking pages and a leather cover. It should look photorealistic and beautiful in every detail. You are free to add some own design ideas.
At first, the splashscreen appears, which is the leather cover of a book. Then the Homescreen appears, which is basically an open leather book lying on a wooden table. From the home screen users have three options (one button per option): Delete an entry, Create an entry (in two steps, that are shown in the sketch) and share an entry (FB, Twitter, etc). So it is actually 4 screens that need to be designed, however, two of them are based on the Homescreen design, so you cannot really count them as new screens. Please refer to the attached documents, where detailed screenshots of the demanded designs are illustrated and explained. The icon should fit to the UI of the App and could be a book. It should have the same style, that means wooden or leather texture. There are some examples of great icons that style we like in the attachment. The deliverables are: - Icon - Wordmark logo - Splashscreen - 1 Mainscreen (photorealistic design of a thick leather book) with 3 buttons - 2 simple sidescreens, each with 2 buttons - A red stamp similar to the “canceled” stamp used by Siri
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. App design starts at €549.
