Baarsma Wines is a distributor of wines and wine concepts, mainly active in the Dutch retail market, with as main channel the supermarkets. At this moment we are offering a fresh and fruity Prosecco Fiorla Prosecco has fine bubbles, with a classic Prosecco aromatic nose. The wine is very soft on the palate, offering refreshing acidity with lots of mouth-filling tropical fruit and citrus flavours. Fiorla Prosecco is from the Veneto region in Italy. Fiorla is an enjoyable, everyday drinking Prosecco, and is ideally served as an aperitif.
This wine is meant for the Dutch customer with less knowledge about wines compared to the average wine drinker. The consumer buys his wine in the supermarket, specifically ALDI. The only thing they know about prosecco is that it’s a Italian sparkling wine.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
I want to develop a very clear prosecco label. Prosecco must be the main communication to be written on the label. We are looking for a modern looking Italian prosecco label. The name of the wine will be FIORLA. Please design something completely new. Not the old fashion labelling. But also not too flashy, because it's for ALDI supermarkets.
