A complete work of art 12 oz can design for one of our flagship meads. A visually compelling can that draws women drinkers. We have a clean logo and thus are looking for a blend of clean meets a luxurious sheen.
The name Annapurna comes from an epic journey my wife and I had while backpacking around the Annapurna Mountain Range in Nepal. It was a Peak experience for us and set the stage for the breakthrough work we are doing in the mead business.
The branding of our cans can go several directions and we are hoping this contest will help explore these options. We are located in Colorado and as you can imagine the mountains and a healthy outdoorsy lifestyle are big draws for our consumers. We may consider extending the qualifying round to see the depth and versatility that the 99Designs platform offers up.
We want a wow experience. A can that the consumer wants to leave on the table just for the eye-appeasing look to it. A talking point, a artistic expression, an introduction to a new class of all-natural alcoholic beverages.
Most people are not familiar with mead and we consider this to be a bonus because it is an opportunity to show what mead is capable of....not vikings, not overtly sweet, women-centric.
This being an alcohol, which by its composition is controlled by both the FDA and TTB, the design must include space for a nutritional label, ingredients, company info and gov't alcohol warning.
