How Belhamels started their product packaging journey
A product packaging for delicious traditional cakes that have a nostalgic taste. The cake is a modern interpretation of an old-fashioned taste.
The field: we would like to work with a bag made of kraft paper.
The dimensions of this bag are 11 cm wide, 6 cm deep and 24 cm high.

The shape of the window is not yet fixed, but at first the following sizes can be used: 6.5 cm wide by 8 cm high.

Product packaging is a Kraft paper bag with PLA lining and window. We chose this material because we wanted our packaging to match/reflect the craftsmanship that is put into the cookies.
Description of the product target audience
People that like the authentic taste and craftsmanship and are willing to pay a premium for quality experiences.
We would like the design of our packaging to be more than "just some cookies". People are buying an authentic quality product. Packaging should reflect that. We want to build up our brand identity so "Belhamels" should be well recognisable. The design should also give a good reflection of the contents of the bag and the taste of the cookies. This can be done either visual or by means of words.
If multiple tastes of cookies are to be launched, a similar format in the same style needs to be possible, while maintaining recognisability.
Amount of cookies per bag:8 should be mentioned on the front side.

What to avoid
Currently doing our re-branding. Website needs an update. Company style is going to be influenced by this packaging design. Don't base the packaging on the original one except for the name and slogan.
