Description of the product target audience
The recipient will usually be a Corporate IT Security Engineer. These engineers routinely receive packages from huge vendors/distributors like Cisco, Dell and HP. Most IT hardware ships in boring brown boxes. They are hard to open and come with lots of junk like extra cables, manuals, CDs, etc. IT Engineers never receive anything fun/cool. The coolest package a corporate IT Engineer can expect to receive is his/her personal phone or some other new personal gadget. We generally sell to hospitals and healthcare clinics. The majority of our customers are in healthcare, financial services or manufacturing
First, we would like this box to have strong/bold color to stand out from the "standard" IT device box. Not looking for minimalist design, we want bold colors, clear logos, and plenty of imagery around IoT. We recommend using IoT related "icons" or similar. We want our customer to be able to pick our box from the inevitable stack they have easily. For font, we prefer MontSarrat which is included in the files. ================================ OTHER REQUIREMENTS ================================ - White space on the bottom for the shipping label. 4" x 6" - 1.5" x 1.5" white box on the right side for barcode sticker. ================================ RECIPIENT'S EMOTIONAL RESPONSE ================================ - When the Corporate IT Engineer receives the box, we want him/her to feel like the contents of the package will finally SOLVE their IT security problems. - They should feel like minimal work will be needed to setup the device. - They should think IoT Secure is THE cool/hip new security company to work with. - They should feel like they discovered IoT Secure and the IoT-mini and now they have something special. Something very few people already have. ================================
