ucanad2 got their new signage by running a design contest:
Signage Design for UCANADA

As a Canadian souvenir and gift shop, we offer a wide selection of quality gifts and souvenirs featuring iconic images of Canada and our Hometown Toronto. We have memorable gifts for travel, corporate and special events. We have two stores already. We are working on our new store. Our website is www.ucanada.com.
What's your vision?
1. We would like to design the signage for our new store. The size of our signage is 234 x 43 inches. There are other relative sizing information on the first attached photo. 2. The first attached photo is our store front, there are two white poles (diameter 24 inches, height 160 inches) in front of our store. You need to design the images which will be printed on these two poles. Our idea is that we print a Toten Pole on the left pole, and CN tower and background city images on the right pole. You can check the postcards on our website to find a nice CN tower image. The link is https://www.ucanada.com/en/postcards-books 3. We need to leave a space between U and CANADA, our store name is "U CANADA GIFTS" 4. Is there a better font for Gifts? Is there a better font option overall for "U CANADA GIFTS" 5. Is there a better background color rather than white that will fit better in the overall design? 6. Is there a better space usage to reposition the moose, store name?
Please check our website and have a look of the main images on the main and subcategory pages. It will give you more information about the culture and products of our stores.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Signage starts at €179.
