matKx got their new t-shirt by running a design contest:
First in a possible line of shirts for teachers, creative, fun

I am looking for someone to design a line of t-shirts. I'm hoping to find someone with a style I love and then have them create other ideas for shirts I have that are cohesive. My website is www.matthalperneduation.com if you'd like to see my branding and style. I will attach my brand guide, but again, it does not have to match. It doesn't have to match, but it should be fresh, young, and fun. The first idea is SOUND IT OUT. The idea is kids sound out words first. If you want to use a character, it shouldn't be exclusively a boy/girl or white/black - I'd prefer an animal or even an inanimate object (plant, crayon, be creative). OR no character, just text with flourishes. No whole books please (they all look like a bible to me) - but letters or words would be fine.
The words Sound It Out (could be all caps)
What to avoid
This is for teachers who will most likely want to wear it at school, so keep it PG
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. T-shirt starts at €179.
Full copyright with production-ready files for digital and/or print.
It all began with a design brief.
A quick, interactive guide helped them understand their design style and captured exactly what they needed in their t-shirt.
Designers across the globe delivered design magic.
matKx collaborated with designers to refine their ideas
When design entries come in, you can rate them so designers know what you’re looking for in your logo design.
99designs has great collaboration tools so you can pinpoint and capture your ideas
And then… they selected a winner!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
