Examples of our logo can be downloaded though the following link: http://www.keylimetie.com/images/KLT_v2.zip 1d) Do you have a corporate visual identity (a customized, non-stock logo and color scheme carried out throughout your office, stationery, business cards, etc.)? No. Our logo was recently redesigned on SitePoint. We like the new logo, colors, etc. very much. 1e) What is the nature of your business? Briefly describe your products or services: Strategic Consulting Identity & Brand Development Integrated Marketing Communications Website Design & Development Information Architecture Custom Software Solutions Content Management Systems Search-Engine Marketing & Optimization Email Marketing Campaigns 1f) Who is your target market? Who are you hoping to reach with your site? Business Owners, Decision Makers, Marketing and Advertising Executives WEBSITE DETAILS 1b) Do you have an existing website? If so, what is the URL? http://www.keylimetie.com 2b) IMPORTANT: Please list at least 3 URLs (web addresses) of high quality sites that you like the look of (these do not have to be sites whos business is similar to yours. It aids us in determining what your design style is.) Please consider layout, colors, navigation, graphics, and typography. http://www.coghead.com/ and http://blog.coghead.com/ I like the look of both of these sitesand how the blog is branded differently. http://developer.spikesource.com/wiki/index.php/Home Not a bad looking site. But Im not in love with it. http://www.kapowtech.com/solutions.html Also a good looking site. http://www.curl.com Very clean, but too much white space. http://www.venyo.org/ Really like the full screen header/footer with the body constrained to 1024px width. http://www.iarchitect.net/ This website contains most of the same content well incorporate on ours. Its also the site that is providing us with our Content Management System. 3b) What colors or color schemes would you like? Greens and Graysbut also looking for contrasting colors to avoid a dull site. Really want a fresh and inviting look and Web 2.0. 4b) List the Navigation links for your Site: - Top Navigation: Home, Solutions, Products, Blog+Buzz, Support, About Us - Sub-Navigation will vary based on top navigation topic selected. - Site Search 5b) What type of look are you trying to achieve? (e.g. clean, high-tech, conservative, warm, flashy, etc.) Look for a clean, fresh, and soft looking website. Good colors bright, but not too bright. Web 2.0 look and feel. 6b) Do you have any images for use in the design of your site? If not, do you have images, can you offer suggestions of what you type of imagery you feel would be most suitable for your website: Wed like to keep use of actual people faces to a minimum when using photos. Maybe neck down with a green tie would be cool. Also not using photos at all would be preferred too. DEADLINE AND DELIVERABLES 1c) What is the deadline for your template design? 1 week - Please submit early so we can review and provide feedback! 2c) Will you require HTML coding? Yes. The design will be dropped into a Content Management System that allows us to drop in a header area, left area, center area, right area and footer area. So please be sure the design and HTML is broken up accordingly. 3c) If so, will you require it to be ONLY CSS layout? No, tables are OK for us. 4c) How many pages coded will you require delivered? 4 page total: Home page, Blog page, Solutions page, Contact page Are there any other comments/specific ideas we should keep in mind while designing your project? 1. Please design for 1024 x 768 resolution. 2. As mentioned above, the design will be dropped into a Content Management System that allows us to drop in a header area, left area, center area, right area and footer area. So please be sure the design and HTML is broken up accordingly. Please name the images something useles like "header-logo.jpg" and "search-button.jpg", not "homepage1.jpg" and "homepage2.jpg".
