Multilpe Auto Parts Website Templates Needed. $2000 total payout!!
Check out rollytan's Web Page Design (Coded) contest…
Auto Parts Supplier looking to build 10 unique templates. A simple unique logo will be needed for each one but can be text based. My goal is to award 2 designers 5 sites each for $1000 each. If I cant come up with a second place I'll give all 10 to one for $2000. I am looking for 2 different examples for 2 different domain names to see if the developer can come up with differing design concepts for different domains so that I will feel good about designing 5 or more with one person.
What's your vision?
Tagline: 1) The internets largest online auto parts store. 2) Get My Auto Parts Desired Color Scheme: white backgrounds, reds, blues, greens Desired Style: I want a basic clean design template that is easily scalable. Accepted File Formats: Any logos to be jpg or gif. Basic html fine. Nothing too busy. This is a project I have been looking to complete for some time but was not really sure how to go about it. I have come up with this solution so I can see the artistic style of the developer before agreeing to have all 10 done. The main challenge will be providing sites that dont have the same 'look' but still are basically similar from a code standpoint. I intend to take the template and provide all of the backend programming with PHP and Mysql. The way I have always had these designed was to have a basic index.html (supplied by the developer) page that I can split into a header.html and footer.html. The header would have everything up to an open tag and then the footer would have the closing so I can put anything I want int the middle and it would all look fine. Some example sites we use right now that have this concept in place: http://tinyurl.com/yoe58z http://tinyurl.com/yssyln http://tinyurl.com/yun4mm Each of these sites have an open region with table columns on LH and RH to supply advertising space. The footer will have a basic sitemap. Each site will have the following: Home - Simply put the home page link Parts Search - A page where we have a parts request form Parts Directory - A place where we can put partners Auto Parts - Place to put previous parts requests About Us - Page to describe our business Contact - Contact page Each site will have the same purpose but will be targeting different keywords/parts we supply. The concept is we get visitors to the site(s), they can then submit a part request that comes to our company databaseor they will be supplied a phone number. We are a supplier of used OEM auto parts nationwide. The site that can be used for the template will be iusedautoparts.com which the 'i' stands for 'internet'. In the event you do not want multiple sites to code please do not enter anything as I dont want to deal with multiple people throughout the design of the other sites. If I have a close tie I might have 1 do 5 and another do 5 and award $1000 to each. I stay pretty busy but will do my best to offer feedback once a day. Thanks and have fun!
