Brendon S got their new web page design by running a design contest:
Design for a Pool-Fence Hire Company
Check out Brendon S's Web page design contest…
Abacus Pool Fence Hire is a local company which supplies pool fences on a hire basis. We'll be developing an online presence with two chief aims: lead generation, and promotion of pool safety. We are looking for a calming aesthetic with a strong clean structure.
What's your vision?
Tagline: When Safety Counts Desired Color Scheme: Water themed, anything goes as long as it suits the logo Accepted File Formats: Layered Formats (.psd or .tiff); Layered PSD Photoshop File Description Abacus Pool Fence Hire is a local hiring company which deals with temporary pool fences. The purpose of the website is to: - Provide an online presence for the company - Show the range of fences available - Promote pool safety - Lead generation (allow customers to ask for quotes)Look and Feel (Note: Please use stock photography from iStockPhoto, or a source similarly priced.) The theme for this site should be calming, with strong structure and a bold colour scheme oriented around water, pools, and children.  Graphics should demonstrate how temporary fencing can add to the aesthetic of the pool area. Customer's motivation for hiring a pool fence would be to: - To keep their children safe (fear of a child drowning is a large motivator) - Comply with local safety laws (all pools must have some form of fencing)The current website is: http://www.poolfencehire.com.au Logo is here: http://poolfencehire.com.au/images/Abacuslogo.JPG The tag-line for this site should be "..when safety counts" Navigation We're not 100% settled on what our navigation will be yet, but this is a good start: - Home - Pool safety - Product Showcase - Tips and advice - Get a quote - Warranty - About Us - Contact UsFocus This will be developed as a Wordpress theme, but will not be run as a blog. (Wordpress will be used for content-management functionality instead). The site will include an image gallery of their products (stock photography is fine for now), and information pertaining to pool safety. There will be a section with general advice and tips regarding pool fences. The home page will be a summary of all other pages - small section of tips and safety, some product photos, perhaps a featured product. Product pages should all have a "Provide a quote" form on them. Payment Payment will be provided via Paypal only! Please use iStockPhoto or a similarly priced source for your stock photography.Â
