This rating system has to be on the product pages. http://www.lapatisseriedesreves.com/ - love the feel of the home page and the focus on the product. The modern (styling) with Retro fusion (colour palette) is exactly what we are looking for in our site. http://www.fireflytonics.com/ - For the overall feel, very friendly, approachable, fun! Perfect blend of Heritage mixed with modern-retro fusion! Love how they showcase their people. http://www.baru.be/ - under construction, but their FB page is good too http://www.facebook.com/pages/BARÚ/157900560966760 - we want our colour palette similar to the colours used in the title boxes of the products. While we like certain elements of the sites above but we seem to keep gravitating back to http://www.lapatisseriedesreves.com/ & http://www.fireflytonics.com/. Please visit and explore these sites thoroughly as this will set you in the right direction.

This is like the front door to our facility and you should be able to access all areas of the site from here. Landing Pages - The landing pages will showcase all of the info for the major categories of the site. A document entitled Site Silos identifies these categories and what falls under each. We require a landing page that is versatile and can work for each of the three main categories. Product Showcase Page - This will showcase all of our products. Versatile Page Layout - build a contact page but layout must be easily tweaked for about, and other company info pages

We just want to stay away from the typical static, catalogue-type of website and both http://www.lapatisseriedesreves.com/ and http://fireflytonics.com are perfect examples of showcasing the product in a unique and dynamic fashion. We want to showcase our cakes, of course, but the site has to be more than that. This product is emotional – a cake is part of something special (birthday, engagement, graduation, dinner party, or even a girls night in). We are being invited to be a part of their special moment. The cake is representative of something big and wonderful and it’s pure indulgence. The site has to convey that. Piece of cake, right? (Couldn’t help myself)
