willemPT got their new web page design by running a design contest:
We need a Premium and Luxurious looking web design for a Super Car rental Gift Card shop
Check out willemPT's Web page design contest…
We will target anyone who is interested in (super) cars and everything around it. Our focus product will be gift cards for driving supercars starting at 250 EUR for 30 minutes including everything (also gas). Next to the gift cards, there will be a webshop for merchandise (t-shirts/caps/gadgets/canvas etc). There will be customers buying it for themselves but also people that will buy it as a gift. At a later stage, people will also be able to buy a physical gift card, currently, it will only be digital gift cards.
Suprim.co (first draft) https://suprim.co/inner-page.html
It should have a modern and luxurious look and feel. Simple user interface with floating visuals. Flashy(bright) colors can be used like lime green or orange (e.g.) for the call to action buttons. It should have a mix between expensive-looking but a playful site. I made a mockup of how I like the design setup. On the homepage for the car selection, I would like to use the vector drawn cars. The header banner can be real images. The car detail page (second) will also show real images. Keep in mind that we will start with around 16 cars, but this will expand as we will be adding more rental companies with their cars. The design should be able to scale with the number of cars.
Homepage (see mockup screen) : This should give a luxurious feel to the user (header image + text). They should be really wanting to drive one of the cars listed. There should be a good looking overview of the USP's of the website. Like wide range of car selection, get your digital gift card instantly, monthly sweepstakes etc. This may change but will always about 3 of them. We want to show the car logo's of cars that are available at that time. There should be an ability to show special offers or ads for other websites. Then there will be the car selection, they should all be using the vector images attached a couple of examples. For every new car that will be added a new vector image will be drawn. I think this layout would be logical if you think I can put all this info in a better nicer looking layout, be my guest. Footer can be a simple one with some links and social logo's (insta/facebook/youtube). Car detail page (see mockup screen): This page should give all the info about the car, all the facts about speed, horsepower, built, etc. Next to that, it should show a box with what's included and the total price. This will be the main button CTA on this page since here they will buy the gift card. Below it should give a nice overview on how it works, like step1 download voucher, step2 book your car. step3 drive your car. After that, you will have some testimonials. To fill up the rest of the page we want to show some related other cars that may be interesting. Below that we will write a small article about that specific car, background info, extra images. Checkout: You can use https://cart.couponclub.cc/gb/magicjack/ as a reference. The design can be changed but please keep the elements in it. For the different variations, you can also use an image for example with different gift card values and some explanation text below/next to it. Second step of the checkout is mainly filling out the complete order form and choose your payment options. In between, we will capture the email for email marketing. Please also find screenshots attached. Merchandise/Webshop: This will be a small shop with (in the beginning) just a few products listed. These will be branded products, think about car gadgets, t-shirts, caps, etc. Since there won't be that many products to show there is room to make some extra elements to full up the page. The website shouldn't look "empty" when there is only 3-4 products. Product detail page: This page will give more information on the chosen product. More images, price info, buy button etc. For this page you're free to change the wireframe setup. We also want to include some text and image and refer to car gift cards as well.
What to avoid
It's not going to be a direct car rental website. So you don't need to show any booking tool with dates etc. People will buy a gift card which can be redeemed at the exclusive car rental I think it would be nice to use some bright color for the call 2actions but maybe you have other ideas about it. You will be free to do your thing. Main goal is that it looks luxurious/tempting and people feel like driving those supercars. It's a once in a lifetime experience we're selling so this can be shown in the designs as well.
You do have a free hand in the design, please make sure all the elements from the wireframe are used. For the checkout you can use the sample checkout as a reference, have a close look at the design change on mobile vs desktop. The webshop will be starting with a few products, so it shouldn't look too empty if there are just 2-3 products. You can use stock images for different elements, only for the car selection overview you can use the vector images. For the car detail page you can use the provided images we got from the rental companies. Some examples are added. Most of the men have the dream to drive a super car once in their lives. We will make this possible, it will be exclusive and premium. So basically there is the gift cards for super cars, which will be the main product of the website. Next to that there will be merchandise to sell to the audience, but won't be the main product. I've attached the font for the logo I used in the mockup designs. You're free to use any color scheme.
