I have never worked with a logo but always with photos in terms of personal branding.
Lately the pictures depicted me as if I was shouting. Keep an open mind and see the attached picture. It's a bit like the classic Warner Bros lion, although I am not looking for an animal in a logo per se.... Good luck!

If you use fonts that require a license, confirm with the client they're ok with it. For licensing reasons, it is better to provide your client with information on how to acquire the font rather than providing the actual files.
Text in logos should be converted to outlines.
